Nottingham-born but a proud Canadian at heart, Tina is a sociologist specialising in user experience, ethnographic research, and gender analyses of contemporary social issues. She first worked for ESRO in 2010 with 8 years’ experience as an ethnographic social scientist under her belt, having previously worked with Intel's Health Research and Innovation Group in Ireland, and having conducted fieldwork in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, France, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Ukraine, Canada, US, India, and Thailand. In her ESRO guise she has worked for clients including Knowsley Council, the Youth Justice Board and the Design Council, and she currently works at the London School of Economics on knowledge engagement and impact.

Tina received her PhD in 2005 from the University of Leeds, with Routledge publishing her doctoral research, ‘Women, Identity and India’s Call Centre Industry’, in 2009. Outside of work, Tina indulges her spiritual side by teaching active meditation, and is busy working on a project that links spirituality with social capital and sustainable consumption. She also finds time to serve as a Local Authority School Governor at Pakeman Primary School in Islington.

Tina is an ESRO Associate.
