Tom joined ESRO in 2010 after a decade spent working in the dizzying glamour of theatre and TV. Throughout that time, he was also a freelance researcher and writer, contributing to a wide range of projects and publications. As Project Co-ordinator, he keeps one eye on the facilities at ESRO HQ, and the other on his colleagues, ensuring their every second is used effectively and that they want for nothing, either abroad in the office or at home in the field. He also chips in with writing and research duties when time permits.

Away from ESRO, Tom has written two novels and is about to embark on a third. The rest of his waking hours are spent either swimming, noodling around on his guitar, or glugging real ale in finger-in-the-ear folk clubs.
